How to win it: To win this award, provide evidence of what makes your company the best for recruitment, retention, productivity, staff and stakeholder satisfaction. The judges will be looking for evidence of how the department uses working practices, internal culture, external engagement and leadership to build cohesion and value.

Best diversity, equity and inclusion

Who it’s for: Any organisation demonstrating a focused approached to ensuring its employment practices support DEI goals

How to win it: This award is for organisations that have taken the lead in recruiting and developing talent from under-represented demographics. Demonstrating that a real shift has taken place in terms of the representation from minority groups, be that by gender, ethnic background, neurological diversity or other factors that contribute to a positive DEI balance.

Most effective stakeholder engagement

Who it’s for: The data and analytics team which is best able to demonstrate how it engaged proactively with the business.

How to win it: The judges will be looking for collaborative working between the data and analytics function and its stakeholders which iteratively improved the quality of insights, recommendations and ways of working. They will be keen to see input from stakeholders attesting to the willingness of the function to listen and take on board changing needs.

Who it’s for: Any organisation that has empowered a new process or outcome through the application of data and analytics.

How to win it: Provide evidence of how data and analytics have been used to transform the organisation, the way it operates, how a service is delivered or how customers are engaged. This may be through becoming digital-first or by putting a data asset at the heart of operations.

Shared data, shared culture award

Who’s it for: An organisation that has created a “one data” culture with unified data assets and ways of working across divisional and geographical boundaries.

How to win it: Removing data silos is an important objective, but it needs to go hand-in-hand with the vision of a unitary culture across the organisation with all data assets commonly available and agreed working principles and practices adopted. The winner will be able to demonstrate significant progress towards this objective.
