Nominations for inclusion in the 2024 comprehensive list of top talent in the data and analytics industry – the DataIQ 100 – close 27th October. The DataIQ 100 identifies data’s who’s who, following the rise of chief data officers, chief analytics officers, senior data leaders and key service providers. To be included in the DataIQ 100 demonstrates peer-reviewed organisational and individual achievements that provide a legacy for future talent to follow.
In previous years, there have been two separate lists – one for the UK and one for the USA. In 2024, this is changing to one comprehensive list to achieve a more global data and analytics community. One list means competition for inclusion will be higher than ever and getting your name into the top 100 (and perhaps the top 10) will showcase the grand efforts taken to improve and further the data and analytics industry. In 2023, DataIQ received more than 1,000 individual nominations for inclusion in the UK and USA 100 lists.
It is free to nominate yourself, peers and colleagues and you can nominate as many people as you like.
Those included in the list are assessed on the following points:
To be listed in the DataIQ 100 shows long-standing enthusiasm and development for the data and analytics industry. It highlights the movers and shakers that are driving data forward across a rapidly evolving business landscape to provide the highest quality products, insights and efficiencies. Those that have been listed in the DataIQ 100 have been invited as keynote speakers for multiple international data conferences, have been approached by data-driven businesses for new opportunities and have found themselves with increased clout in the decision-making process for their organisations.
A core recurring theme for the DataIQ community in 2023 has been diversity in data and analytics. It is encouraging to see that diversity rates are improving across all areas of the industry and look set to continue into 2024, but the data world is still on the journey for ultimate equality. In 2023, DataIQ set up a DEI working group within its membership to provide information about DEI initiatives and set guidelines for improving all forms of diversity in data businesses.
