With Sport England's Active Lives Survey showing that over a quarter of the population do less than 30 minutes of moderate intensity activity a week, the new products aim to make getting active easier.
New products include iPrescribe Exercise, an activity app which analyses a consumer's lifestyle information and prescribes a bespoke exercise plan using an automated algorithm.
Created by two physiotherapists, Lewis and Carron Manning, the app is designed to help NHS doctors, who often do not have time to provide exercise prescriptions on top of their other work. The app has been approved by the NHS and is listed on the NHS Digital apps library.
Meanwhile, Train As One is an AI personal running coach, which adapts when consumers do and, it is claimed, keeps runners fit, healthy and injury free.
