Barely three years ago, data was viewed as a risk, rather than an asset at Zurich. There was little engagement by the business with the idea of data for decision support and data did not have a voice in the boardroom. TRANSFORMING DATA SHARING: A NEW FRAMEWORK FOR TRUST, PRIVACY AND VALUE
The digital economy offers huge opportunities to brands and consumers alike, but only if the issue of safe and trusted data flows can be resolved. Ctrl-Shift has been running a series of workshops around personal data mobility to identify the challenges the market faces in making consumers safe and confident in sharing their personal data with third parties.

Samsung Electronics Europe took the challenge head on and introduced a common data model that supports consumer and market insight across 15 subsidiaries in 34+ countries.
In this session, Daryl will explain how a new business intelligence platform with a strong internal brand not only drives better business outcomes, but also supports the quest for increased data literacy. The project was the winner of the DataIQ Award for Data aggregation initiatives in 2019.

She ensures the company is agile in the way it innovates and adopts new techniques and solutions for the fast-paced digital era, all of them rooted in data.
At TUI, Kinnari is driving multiple initiatives, such as creating a global community of analysts from across business functions to share tools, techniques and knowledge. Recently, cross-market collaboration has been put in place and an Analytics Academy has also been established. Despite the apparent potential for tension between those two things, especially in the realm of digital transformation, the message from the UK regulator is that taking the end-user with you on the digital journey, while also demonstrating accountability, is the best way to overcome the trust deficit.
Against the background of a busy year for the ICO, this session will see Simon providing an overview of the major initiatives and policies being pursued, from engaging with publishers and vendors in the adtech space through to consulting on ethical AI and creating an innovation sandbox where new propositions can be tested. The entrance to etc.venues County Hall is on Belvedere Road – please note this IS NOT on the river side of the building, Belvedere Road runs parallel to the river to the rear of the building. The door to the venue is situated in the middle of the building, half way down Belvedere Road opposite Forum Magnum Square. The nearest stations to the venue are Waterloo and Westminster – both a pleasant 5 minute walk away.

- Exit the station via the Southbank exit and turn right towards the London Eye.
- Keep walking up York Road until you hit the crossroads and see the London Eye.
- Turn right at the crossroads and walk towards the London Eye.
- Before you get to the London Eye take the first left on to Chicheley Street through the barrier.
- Walk past the Premier Inn and the entrance to the venue is on your right.
Directions via Westminster
- Exit the station via exits 1 & 2 and turn right up the steps onto Westminster Bridge.
- Walk across the bridge towards County Hall and the London Eye.
- At the end of the bridge continue straight on along the pavement.
- Go straight past the entrance to Marriott hotel walking around the building and turn left in to Belvedere Road.
- Continue along Belvedere Road which runs along the back of County Hall - the door to the venue is situated in the middle of the building opposite Forum Magnum Square.
Walking from Waterloo mainline station
- When travelling to etc.venues County Hall via London Waterloo, it is essential that you leave the station via exit 5 on the main concourse. Do not
exit the station via the underground exits.
- When on the main concourse, make your way to the far end of the platforms (platforms 20-24) and leave the station via exit 5. Walk down the stone
steps, keeping to the left. At the foot of the stairs keep left and walk towards York Road, turn left on to York Road and continue walking with the
parade of shops on your left. Keep walking along York Road with the Thames / London Eye on the opposite side of the road to the right.
- Keep walking until you see a Premier Inn - just after this there is a crossing which leads to Forum Magnum Square. Cross over to the Square and
the door to the venue is directly in front of you across the Square. Should you accidently find yourself at the London Eye end of Belvedere Road,
walk down the road and the door is located just past and opposite Starbucks.
Please note that there are barriers either end of Belvedere Road, when arriving by taxi you will need to walk up Belvedere Road as per the instructions above.
By River Bus
The venue is accessible by river and is served by the River Bus route RB1 from North Greenwich and Canary Wharf.
