Meha Nelson is the winner of the Women’s Entrepreneurship Award, one of three awards given to organisations and participants of the Open Data Institute’s Data Pitch accelerator. She told Toni Sekinah how GDPR affected the collection of data for Predina, the accident prediction company she co-founded, and how data is used to avoid collisions.
A new stimulus fund of £150,000 is available to eligible projects that will increase access to data and drive innovation in the engineering sector. The fund has been announced alongside the publication of a manifesto and report aimed at getting companies and organisations in the engineering sector to publish, use and share data.
